Actually to all sorts of better learning.

That’s the premise behind these guys who started Flocabulary.

They use hip-hop to improve scores in vocabulary, reading, writing, math and social studies.

By engaging kids in a medium they think is cool, learning suddenly becomes fun.

And kids do seem to have an uncanny ability to memorize song lyrics (even when they have trouble memorizing basic times tables).

I think it’s a great idea with a lot of potential to help people (not just kids) remember all sorts of messaging.
