  1. I’m not sure who originally said this, but it has always stuck with me — “He who breaks a resolution is a weakling. He who makes one is a fool.”

    I’m making a list of hopes that I plan to keep.

  2. @Sara Happy New Year and thanks for the comment. I’m trying to be a little less black and white this year. That’s usually my problem with resolutions. I’ll say I am going to eat better and then I’ll beat myself up each time I reach for a chocolate. I am trying to give myself kudos for each time I do make a healthier choice, and not be too hard on myself up for the (inevitable) slips. Maybe that will feel less like total failure and keep me motivated. We’ll see how it goes.
