As a follow up to yesterday’s post on The Flip Book Goes Digital, here is a way to create a Flip Book with your own images.

The site is called The Big Exquisite Corpse Experiment.

Not sure I am crazy about the title.

But it is fun to play around with.

What’s your twist?
What do you think of this experiment?

  1. Hey…

The title is a sort of tribute to the surrealist movement (Breton, et al) who in the 1920’s started playing a game where one would write something on a piece of paper, fold it to cover up part of the text, and pass it on to the next person to also write something –with the result being a story/phrase coined by the collective. Sort of like a very old, surreal version of mini crowdsourcing 😀

The first phrase that resulted from that game/experiment was:

“Le cadavre exquis boira le vin nouveau”

which means “The exquisite corpse will drink the new wine” (roughly). After that, the game was called “Cadavre Exquis”, or Exquisite corpse… hence the word play on this expermient.

    Cheers!
